Hindu : 2 Apr - Editorial : Message with mixed feelings

This is an interesting article on behalf of BJP's and its proabable journey ahead towards general elections 2014.it starts off with an incident in the past as well as in recent times. both related to Mr.Narender Modi. One incident where he was accused of all the suffering of gujarat during Riots, abd another incident where he was warmly welcomed into BJP's event by all the big shots of the party and the way Ramnath Singh praised Narendra Modi for his visionary over Gujarat is worth noting.Authoer takes these two incidents and tries to dedcue on how BJP could now rely on Mr.Modi to win a major election in 2014. At this juncture Authoer also points out other major player who are in BJP as well as in NDA who are planning to run for Prime Minisiter if their party wins. Modi being considered as a Prime Ministeral candidate by default, according to the Author, doesnt look like a good news to many who have been loyally a part of NDA and BJP and that they wil not be happy if Modi is given the Chance.

Article then mentions all those candidates who wish to try their luck at the prime post of Indian cabinet. However it should not be forgotten that the time India gets its next prime inister, the way it shall be ruled will be crucial and only a rightful candidate deserve to sit in that chair. Author then talks about the propable after effects from al those candidates including Narendra Modi if they are not given the opportunity to rule this Country under the name of People's leader and the results do not look god. Hence the author ends the article hoping that BJP know what its doingand will choose the right candidate without impacting much on the party or the alliance in case they win.
